THE MEDIATING ROLES OF TRIANGULAR LOVE COMPONENTS IN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP BELIEFS AND MARRIAGE ATTITUDES

This study examined the mediating roles of triangular love components (intimacy, passion, and commitment) in relationship between university students’ romantic beliefs marriage attitudes. The research sample consisted 376 undergraduate students, 289 whom were female 87 male, studying at a public university. In addition to Personal Information Form, four measurement tools, namely Inönü Marriage Attitude Scale, Sternberg Triangular Love Scale (STLS STLS-M forms), Romantic Relationship Beliefs employed this study. According resultant findings, components, intimacy had partial role, while passion commitment full All adjustments regarding collected data conducted R programming environment. findings discussed based on existing literature, followed by suggestions for various practices field future studies.
